Innovation in bone healing and tissue repair

Kuros is developing a family of bone healing products to address indications in trauma, and spine. These products are called orthobiologics. Kuros is focused on bone repair for trauma, specifically fracture repair, as well as on spinal fusion.

Kuros has received market approval for:

  • MagnetOs Granules, a novel synthetic bone graft substitute designed to regenerate bone in various locations in the body. This product has obtained CE Mark approval in the EU and has been submitted for market clearance in the US.

Kuros is developing the following product candidates in fracture repair:

  • MagnetOs Putty, a moldable formulation of MagnetOs Granules. This product is being prepared for submission seeking CE Mark and US market clearance.

  • KUR-111 is a bone graft substitute designed to be a highly efficacious alternative to autograft. KUR-111 is initially developed for the treatment of tibial plateau fractures.

  • KUR-113 is an orthobiologic designed to support healing of fractures that have a risk of not healing properly. KUR-113 is initially being tested in tibial shaft fractures.

Kuros has the following product candidate in spine:

  • KUR-113 is also developed as a bone graft for spinal fusion in patients with degenerative disc disease.
